As a future Québec graduate, you can submit your application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ – Québec selection certificate) no earlier than six months before the date on which you expect to receive your attestation of successful completion or diploma eligible under the Programme de l’expérience québécoise and no later than 36 months following receipt of your diploma. However, the Certificat de sélection du Québec will be issued to you only upon presentation of your complete and final transcripts accompanied by an attestation of successful completion or your diploma.
When a request to renew a CSQ is sent to MIDI after it has been expired for some time, or after 3 years, MIDI may investigate that the applicant still meets the initial conditions of the CSQ. In these cases, they may ask the applicant for updated documents, which may delay the processing of the renewal of the CSQ. Therefore be sure to allow sufficient time for the applicant to provide updated documentation to MIDI.
